a little bit about me
A self-proclaimed "new-age" geek, I've always enjoyed staying current on the latest and greatest in the tech world. This makes developing new skills natural yet exciting as it's really just a form of playing around for me. I'm a very social personal and I love to share with others as well as learn from them.
After graduating from High School in 2001 and unsure of exactly which path I wanted to take on my way to a career I decided to take some time and moved to Hawaii. Being as naive as nineteen year olds can be, a friend and I purchased plane tickets, emptied our modest savings accounts and headed for paradise. To make a longer story shorter we had no idea how difficult it was to find a job in a new place at a young age when you know absolutely no one. Still, it was an experience I've never regretted. There is something empowering about purchasing a one-way ticket and trying to began a new life somewhere. It is an experience I would recommend to any young person.
In the years following I attended College for a number of different things, including Audio Engineering, Music and even Criminal Justice. Despite my long-time passion for all things tech I had thought for some reason that I needed to keep my hobby and passion separate from that of my day job. In fact, it wasn't until years later that I realized what I loved should have been my number one focus in school. Live and learn.
I am now expanding and offering my services to the public. I am passionate about web design, development and staying on the bleeding edge of the field. I love being creative, coming up with a unique layout and then having the coding skills to make that happen.
